Chapter 45

आनकानां च राधेय मृदड़ानां च सर्वशः । “राधानन्दन! सब ओर शंखों, ढोलों और मृदंगोंकी रोमांचकारी तुमुल ध्वनि सुनायी दे रही है

ānakānāṃ ca rāḍheya mṛdaṅgānāṃ ca sarvaśaḥ |

Sañjaya said: “O Rādheya (son of Rādhā), on every side the stirring, tumultuous sound of war-instruments is being heard—kettledrums and mṛdaṅgas—signaling the armies’ rising fervor and the imminent clash.”
