वरान् प्रादाद् बहुविधान् भार्गवाय महात्मने । उक्तश्न देवदेवेन प्रीतियुक्तेन शूलिना,उन देवाधिदेव त्रिशूलधारी भगवान् शिवने बड़ी प्रसन्नताके साथ महात्मा भार्गवको नाना प्रकारके वर प्रदान किये
Transliteration
varān prādād bahuvidhān bhārgavāya mahātmane | uktaś ca devadevena prītiyuktena śūlinā ||
Translation
Mahādeva, the Lord of the gods, pleased and affectionate, granted the great-souled Bhārgava many kinds of boons. The episode underscores that divine favor is portrayed as responding to devotion and worthiness, and that power is ideally conferred with discernment rather than demanded through pride.
