कर्णेन युधिष्ठिरानीकविदारणम् / Karṇa’s Breach of Yudhiṣṭhira’s Battle-Line
स तद् विकृष्य भगवान् दिव्यं लोकेश्वरो धनु:
sa tad vikṛṣya bhagavān divyaṁ lokeśvaro dhanuḥ
Then the venerable Lord of the worlds drew back that divine bow—an act that signaled sovereign resolve and readiness to enforce righteous order amid the pressures of war.
पितामह उवाच
The verse highlights decisive, disciplined action under rightful authority: when dharma must be upheld in a crisis, hesitation gives way to resolute readiness, symbolized by drawing the divine bow.
