Educational Q&A

Even the gods become uneasy when extraordinary spiritual power is stirred by anger; the verse highlights the ethical tension between immense capability and the need for restraint to preserve cosmic and moral order.

Sañjaya reports that the gods, led by Indra, realize Nara and Nārāyaṇa are wrathful and, fearing the consequences of their unleashed potency, anxiously deliberate about what outcome will follow.
