धृष्टद्युम्नस्य द्रोणरथारोহণं सात्यकेः प्रतिरक्षणं च | Dhrishtadyumna Boards Droṇa’s Chariot; Sātyaki’s Counter-Protection

बहुप्रकारा दृश्यन्ते सर्व एवाघशंसिन: । अपि स्वस्ति भवेद्‌ राज्ञ: सामात्यस्य गुरोर्मम,“ये उत्पात अनेक प्रकारके दिखायी देते हैं और सब-के-सब भारी अमंगलकी सूचना दे रहे हैं। क्या मेरे पूज्य भ्राता राजा युधिष्ठिर अपने मन्त्रियोंसहित सकुशल होंगे?”

bahuprakārā dṛśyante sarva evāghaśaṃsinaḥ | api svasti bhaved rājñaḥ sāmātyasya guror mama ||

Sañjaya said: “Portents of many kinds are being seen—each and every one foretelling grave misfortune. Might there yet be well-being for the king, together with his ministers—my revered elder, Yudhiṣṭhira?”
