आनन्दयति मां भूय: सात्यकि: परवीरहा । माद्रीपुत्रो च भीमं च राजानं च युधिषछ्विरम्,शत्रुवीरोंका संहार करनेवाला सात्यकि मुझे बारंबार आनन्द दे रहा है और नकुल, सहदेव, भीमसेन तथा राजा युधिष्ठिरको भी आनन्दित कर रहा है
sañjaya uvāca | ānandhayati māṁ bhūyaḥ sātyakiḥ paravīrahā | mādrīputrau ca bhīmaṁ ca rājānaṁ ca yudhiṣṭhiram ||
Sañjaya said: “Again and again Sātyaki, the slayer of enemy heroes, fills me with joy; and he also gladdens Mādrī’s sons, Bhīma, and King Yudhiṣṭhira.”
संजय उवाच
Even amid the harshness of war, righteous resolve depends on morale and trustworthy allies; the verse highlights how exemplary valor (Sātyaki’s) strengthens the spirits of leaders and comrades, sustaining their commitment to the cause.
Sañjaya reports that Sātyaki’s successful feats against formidable opponents repeatedly bring joy to him and encourage the Pāṇḍava side—especially Nakula, Sahadeva, Bhīma, and King Yudhiṣṭhira—by restoring confidence on the battlefield.
