Sañjaya said: With those two heroes of mighty strength at his side, Arjuna’s prowess and martial energy were further invigorated; for he was accompanied by Śrī Kṛṣṇa and Bhīmasena, and also by Sātyaki—the bull among the Śinis.

Strength and effectiveness—especially in a dharmic struggle—are amplified by the presence of virtuous, capable allies. The verse highlights the ethical importance of right companionship: noble support can steady resolve and increase one’s capacity to act rightly under pressure.
Sañjaya describes Arjuna’s rising confidence and power in battle because he is supported by key allies: Kṛṣṇa (his charioteer and guide), Bhīma (a principal warrior), and Sātyaki (a leading Yādava/Śini hero). Their combined presence boosts Arjuna’s momentum in the Drona Parva conflict.
