युधिष्ठिरस्य कृष्णार्जुनादि-समाश्वासनम्
Yudhiṣṭhira’s reassurance and praise of Kṛṣṇa, Arjuna, Bhīma, and Sātyaki
।। द्रोणस्तु त्वरितो युद्धे धृष्टय्युम्नस्य सारथे:
droṇas tu tvarito yuddhe dhṛṣṭadyumnasya sārathiḥ
Sañjaya said: In the thick of battle, Droṇa—acting with swift resolve—turned his attention toward the charioteer of Dhṛṣṭadyumna.

The verse highlights how war compresses moral space: urgency and strategy can lead warriors to target not only principal combatants but also supporting roles. It invites reflection on dharma in conflict—how far tactical necessity can go before it becomes ethically troubling.
Sañjaya reports that Droṇa, moving quickly amid the fighting, directs action toward Dhṛṣṭadyumna’s charioteer—signaling a tactical move against Dhṛṣṭadyumna by striking at the support that enables his combat effectiveness.
