Educational Q&A

The verse highlights single-pointed resolve in fulfilling a vowed duty amid war: anger is present, yet it is harnessed toward a defined objective (reaching Jayadratha), reflecting the kṣatriya ethic of steadfastness and accountability in battle.

Sañjaya reports to Dhṛtarāṣṭra that the speaker (in context, the warrior pressing forward) is about to break into Droṇa’s battle-host with fierce determination, declaring an intent to reach the specific enemy king Jayadratha.
