Kṛṣṇa-vīrya-kathana

Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s appraisal of Vāsudeva’s deeds

पतितं चैनमालोक्य समन्ताद्‌ भरतस्त्रिय: । परिवव्रुर्महाराजमस्पृशंश्वैव पाणिभि:,महाराजको गिरा देख धृतराष्ट्रकी बहुत-सी स्त्रियाँ उन्हें चारों ओरसे घेरकर बैठ गयीं और उन्हें हाथोंसे सहलाने लगीं

patitaṃ cainam ālokya samantād bharata-striyaḥ | parivavrur mahārājam aspṛśaṃś caiva pāṇibhiḥ ||

Seeing him fallen, the women of the Bharata house gathered around on all sides. They surrounded the king and gently touched and stroked him with their hands.
