उत्थाप्य चैनं शनकै राजानं पृथिवीतलात् | आसन प्रापयामासुर्बाष्पकण्ठ्यो वरानना:,फिर उन सुमुखी स्त्रियोंने राजाको धीरे-धीरे धरतीसे उठाकर सिंहासनपर बिठाया। उस समय उनके नेत्रोंसे आँसू झर रहे थे और कण्ठ गदगद हो रहे थे
utthāpya cainaṁ śanakai rājānaṁ pṛthivītalāt | āsanaṁ prāpayāmāsur bāṣpakaṇṭhyo varānanāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana said: Gently lifting the king up from the ground, those noble-faced women helped him and seated him upon a throne. Their eyes were streaming with tears, and their voices were choked with grief.
