ते संरब्धा: समागम्य द्विसाहस्रा: प्रहारिण: । अचिराद् गमयामासु: प्रेतलोक॑ परस्परम्,वे दो हजार प्रहारकुशल योद्धा क्रोधमें भरे हुए आकर इरावानके सैनिकोंके साथ युद्ध करने लगे। इस प्रकार दोनों ओरके योद्धाओंने परस्पर प्रहार करके शीघ्र ही एक-दूसरेको यमलोक पहुँचा दिया
Translation
Those two thousand skilled assailants, inflamed with wrath, rushed together into the fray; and before long, striking one another in turn, they swiftly sent each other to the realm of the dead.
