तस्मिंस्तु निहते सैन्ये तावुभौ युद्धदुर्मदौ । संग्रामे समतिषछेतां यथा वै वृत्रवासवी,इस प्रकार जब दोनों ओरकी सेनाएँ मार डाली गयीं, तब युद्धमें उन््मत्त होकर लड़नेवाले वे दोनों वीर इरावान् तथा अलम्बुष राक्षस ही युद्धभूमिमें वृत्रासुर और इन्द्रके समान डटे रहे
Translation
When the armies on both sides had been slain, those two warriors, maddened by battle, held their ground in the fight like Vṛtra and Vāsava (Indra) facing each other in war.
