स तै: परिवृतः पार्थो भ्रातृभि: कृतनिश्चयैः । प्रजासंहरणे सूर्य: क्रूरैरिव महाग्रहै:,ऐसा निश्चय करके उन सब भाइयोंने कुन्ती-कुमार भीमसेनको घेर लिया, मानो प्रजाके संहारकालमें सूर्यदेवको बड़े-बड़े क्रूर ग्रहोंने घेर रखा हो

Transliteration

sa taiḥ parivṛtaḥ pārtho bhrātṛbhiḥ kṛtaniścayaiḥ | prajāsaṃharaṇe sūryaḥ krūrair iva mahāgrahaiḥ ||

Translation

Sañjaya said: Thus the son of Pṛthā was surrounded by his brothers, who had formed a firm resolve—like the Sun at the time of the world’s destruction, hemmed in by great and cruel planets.
