सम्प्राप्य मध्यं सैन्यस्थ न भी: पाण्डवमाविशत् । यथा देवासूुरे युद्धे महेन्द्रं प्राप्प दानवान्,कौरवसेनाके भीतर पहुँच जानेपर भी पाण्डुनन्दन भीमसेनको तनिक भी भय नहीं हुआ, जैसे देवासुर-संग्राममें दानवोंकी सेनामें घुसनेपर देवराज इन्द्रको भयका स्पर्श नहीं होता है
saṃprāpya madhyaṃ sainyastha na bhīḥ pāṇḍavam āviśat | yathā devāsure yuddhe mahendraṃ prāpya dānavān ||
Sañjaya said: Having reached the very midst of the army, fear did not enter the son of Pāṇḍu (Bhīmasena) at all. Just as, in the war between gods and asuras, when the Dānavas press into battle against Mahendra (Indra), no touch of fear comes upon the lord of the gods.
