उसके अनन्तर वह आश्वर्यसे चकित और पुलकित-शरीर अर्जुन: प्रकाशमय विश्वरूप परमात्माको श्रद्धा-भक्तिसहित सिरसे प्रणाम करके हाथ जोड़कर बोला ।। अजुन उवाच पश्यामि देवांस्तव देव देहे सर्वास्तथा भूतविशेषसंघान्‌ | ब्रह्माणमीशं कमलासनस्थ- मृषींश्व॒ सर्वानिरगांश्व दिव्यान्‌ू,अर्जुन बोले--हे देव! मैं आपके शरीरमें सम्पूर्ण देवोंको तथा अनेक भूतोंके समुदायोंको, कमलके आसनपर विराजित ब्रह्माको, महादेवको” और सम्पूर्ण ऋषियोंको तथा दिव्य सर्पोंको देखता हूँ

arjuna uvāca | paśyāmi devāṁs tava deva dehe sarvāṁs tathā bhūta-viśeṣa-saṅghān | brahmāṇam īśaṁ kamalāsana-stham ṛṣīṁś ca sarvān uragāṁś ca divyān ||

Arjuna said: O Divine One, within Your body I behold all the gods, and likewise the multitudes of diverse beings. I see Brahmā seated upon the lotus-throne, and also Īśa (Śiva), together with all the sages and the radiant, celestial serpents. In this vision, the whole moral and cosmic order appears gathered into You, revealing that the powers revered across the worlds are held within a single supreme reality.

The verse emphasizes the all-encompassing nature of the Supreme: even the highest gods and revered cosmic powers are seen as contained within the one Divine reality. Ethically, it redirects reverence from fragmented authorities toward a unified source of dharma, inviting humility and devotion in the face of the cosmic order.

After being granted divine sight, Arjuna beholds Kṛṣṇa’s Viśvarūpa (universal form). Overwhelmed with awe and devotion, he describes what he sees inside that form—gods, hosts of beings, Brahmā on the lotus-seat, Śiva, sages, and celestial serpents—confirming that the entire cosmos appears gathered within Kṛṣṇa.
