यदेक: समरे पार्थान् सार्जुनानू समयोधयत् । न चैनं पाण्डवा युद्धे वारयामासुरुल्बणम्,वह समरभूमिमें अकेला ही अर्जुनसहित समस्त कुन्तीकुमारोंसे युद्ध कर रहा था; वहाँ पाण्डव उस प्रचण्ड पराक्रमी दुःशासनको रोक नहीं पाते थे
Transliteration
sañjaya uvāca |
yad ekaḥ samare pārthān sārjunānū samayodhayat |
na cainaṃ pāṇḍavā yuddhe vārayāmāsur ulbaṇam ||
Translation
Sañjaya said: “How it was that, in the thick of battle, he alone fought against the sons of Pṛthā together with Arjuna, and yet the Pāṇḍavas could not check that fierce warrior in the fight.”
