Marutta’s Sacrifice and Agni’s Embassy (मरुत्त-यज्ञे दूतत्वम्)
तथा लोका मानुषा ये च दिव्या: प्रजापतेश्वापि ये वै महान्त: । ते ते जिता देवराज्यं च कृत्स्नं बृहस्पतिर्याजयेच्चेन्नरेन्द्र,अग्निदेवने कहा--राजन्! यदि बृहस्पतिजी आपका यज्ञ करायेंगे तो देवराज इन्द्रके प्रसादसे देवलोकके भीतर जितने बड़े-बड़े लोक हैं, वे सभी आपके लिये सुलभ हो जायूँगे। निश्चय ही आप यशस्वी होनेके साथ ही स्वर्गपर भी विजय प्राप्त कर लेंगे। मानवलोक, दिव्यलोक, महान् प्रजापतिलोक और सम्पूर्ण देवराज्यपर भी आपका अधिकार हो जायगा
tathā lokā mānuṣā ye ca divyāḥ prajāpateś cāpi ye vai mahāntaḥ | te te jitā devarājyaṃ ca kṛtsnaṃ bṛhaspatir yājayec cen narendra ||
Marutta said: “So too, all the worlds—human and divine—and even those great realms belonging to Prajāpati: all of them will be won for you, and the entire sovereignty of the gods as well, O king, if Bṛhaspati himself were to officiate as your sacrificer. Through that consecration, your fame will rise, and your access to the higher worlds will become assured.”
