Adhyāya 51: Kṛṣṇa’s Leave-Taking and Departure for Dvārakā (द्वारकागमनानुमति)

समेन सर्वभूतेषु निःस्प्हेण निराशिषा | शक्‍्या गतिरियं गन्तुं सर्वत्र समदर्शिना,जो सम्पूर्ण भूतोंमें समानभाव रखता है, लोभ और कामनासे रहित है तथा जिसकी सर्वत्र समान दृष्टि रहती है, वह ज्ञानी पुरुष ही इस परम गतिको प्राप्त कर सकता है

samena sarvabhūteṣu niḥspṛheṇa nirāśiṣā | śakyā gatir iyaṃ gantuṃ sarvatra samadarśinā ||

Vāyu said: Only that wise person can attain this highest course who maintains an equal attitude toward all beings, is free from craving and self-interest, and looks upon all situations with the same steady vision.
