Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्

परिचर्या बने तां तु क्षुत्प्रतिघातकारिकाम्‌ । अन्योन्येन निवेद्याथ प्रातिष्ठन्त सहैव ते,तदनन्तर वे एक दूसरेको अपना कुशल-समाचार बताते हुए बोले--“हमलोग अपनी भूख मिटानेके लिये इस वनमें भ्रमण कर रहे हैं" ऐसा कहकर वे साथ-ही-साथ वहाँसे चल पड़े

paricaryā vane tāṁ tu kṣutpratighātakārikām | anyonyena nivedyātha prātiṣṭhanta sahaiva te ||

Bhishma said: Having informed one another of their well-being, they then set out together, undertaking in that forest the necessary activity meant to ward off hunger—roaming the woods to obtain food.
