सा ब्रह्मदण्डकल्पेन तेन मूर्थ्नि हता तदा । कृत्या पपात मेदिन्यां भस्म सा च जगाम ह
Transliteration
sā brahmadaṇḍakalpena tena mūrdhni hatā tadā | kṛtyā papāta medinyāṃ bhasma sā ca jagāma ha ||
Translation
Then he struck her upon the head with a force like the Brahma-daṇḍa (the sacred staff of chastisement). That malignant kṛtyā fell to the earth and was reduced to ashes—so it is said.
