यातुधान्युवाच नामनैरुक्तमेतत् ते दुःखव्याभाषिताक्षरम् | नैतद् धारयितुं शक््यं गच्छावतर पद्मिनीम्,यातुधानी बोली--तुमने जो अपने नामकी व्याख्या की है, उसके अक्षरोंका उच्चारण करना भी मेरे लिये कष्टप्रद है। अत: इसको याद नहीं रख सकती; अब तुम भी पोखरेमें जाओ
Translation
The yātudhānī said: “The explanation you have given of your name is painful for me even to pronounce, syllable by syllable. Therefore I cannot remember it; now you too, go to the pond.”
