पाण्डुकम्बलवर्णाभां सवत्सां कांस्यदोहनाम् । प्रदाय वस्त्रसंवीतां साध्यानां लोकमाप्नुते,जो श्वेत कम्बलके समान रंगवाली सवत्सा गौको वस्त्रसे आच्छादित करके कांस्यके दुग्धपात्रसहित दान करता है, वह साध्योंके लोकमें जाता है
pāṇḍukambalavarṇābhāṃ savatsāṃ kāṃsyadohanām | pradāya vastrasaṃvītāṃ sādhyānāṃ lokam āpnute ||
Vasiṣṭha said: One who donates a cow of a pale, blanket-like hue—together with her calf—covering her with cloth and providing a bronze milking vessel, attains the world of the Sādhyas.
