Phala of Vrata, Niyama, Svādhyāya, Dama, Satya, Brahmacarya, and Service (व्रत-नियम-स्वाध्याय-दम-सत्य-ब्रह्मचर्य-शुश्रूषा-फलप्रश्नः)

अपि पुत्र जिता लोका: शुभास्ते स्वेन कर्मणा | दिष्ट्या चासि पुन: प्राप्तो न हि ते मानुषं वपु:,बेटा! क्‍या तुमने अपने कर्मसे शुभ लोकोंपर विजय पायी है? मेरे सौभाग्यसे ही तुम पुनः यहाँ चले आये हो। तुम्हारा यह शरीर मनुष्योंका-सा नहीं है--दिव्य भावको प्राप्त हो गया है”

“My son! Have you, by your own deeds, won the auspicious worlds? By my good fortune you have returned here again. This body of yours is not like that of mortals—it has taken on a divine nature.”
