ब्राह्मण उवाच यत् तत्र कृत्वा सुमहत् पुण्यं स्यात् तद् ब्रवीहि मे । सर्वस्य हि प्रमाणं त्वं त्रैलोक्यस्यापि सत्तम,ब्राह्मणने कहा--साधुशिरोमणे! संसारमें जो कर्म करनेसे महान् पुण्य होता हो वह मुझे बताइये; क्योंकि समस्त त्रिलोकीके लिये धर्मके विषयमें आप ही प्रमाण हैं
Transliteration
brāhmaṇa uvāca | yat tatra kṛtvā sumahat puṇyaṃ syāt tad bravīhi me | sarvasya hi pramāṇaṃ tvaṃ trailokyasyāpi sattama ||
Translation
The brāhmaṇa said: “Tell me what deed, if performed there, would yield very great merit. For you are the authoritative standard in matters of righteousness for all—indeed, for the three worlds as well, O best of the virtuous.”
