उदाह्नत: सर्वथा ते गुणानां मयैकदेश: प्रसमीक्ष्य बुद्ध्या । शक्तिर्न मे काचिदिहास्ति वक्तुं गुणान्‌ सर्वान्‌ परिमातुं तथैव,ब्रह्मन्‌! मैंने अपनी बुद्धिसे सर्वथा विचारकर यहाँ गंगाजीके गुणोंका एक अंशमात्र बताया है। मुझमें कोई इतनी शक्ति नहीं है कि मैं यहाँ उनके सम्पूर्ण गुणोंका वर्णन कर सकूँ

Transliteration

udāhṛtaḥ sarvathā te guṇānāṁ mayaikadeśaḥ prasmīkṣya buddhyā | śaktir na me kācid ihāsti vaktuṁ guṇān sarvān parimātuṁ tathaiva, brahman ||

Translation

O Brahman, after reflecting with my understanding, I have stated here only a small portion of her qualities, as best as I could. I have no power in this world to recount—or to measure in full—the entirety of her virtues.
