स््नातानां शुचिभिस्तोयैर्गाज़ियै: प्रयतात्मनाम् । व्युष्टिर्भवति या पुंसां न सा क्रतुशतैरपि,गड़ाजीके पवित्र जलसे स्नान करके जिनका अन्तःकरण शुद्ध हो गया है उन पुरुषोंके पुण्यकी जैसी वृद्धि होती है; वैसी सैकड़ों यज्ञ करनेसे भी नहीं हो सकती
Transliteration
snātānāṃ śucibhis toyair gāṅgaiḥ prayatātmanām | vyuṣṭir bhavati yā puṃsāṃ na sā kratuśatair api ||
Translation
Siddha said: For those disciplined men who bathe in the pure waters of the Gaṅgā and thereby purify their inner being, the increase of merit that arises is such as cannot be attained even by performing a hundred sacrificial rites.
