Shloka 15

अहिंसयित्वा ब्रह्महत्याविधानम् / Brahmahatyā incurred without physical violence

भीष्म उवाच इत्युक्त्वा ते जग्मुराशु चत्वारोडमिततेजस: । पृथिवी काश्यपो<ग्निश्च प्रकृष्टायुश्व भार्गव:,भीष्मजी कहते हैं-युधिष्ठि!! इस प्रकार अपना मत प्रकट करके वे चारों अमिततेजस्वी व्यक्ति--पृथ्वी, काश्यप, अग्नि और मार्कण्डेय शीघ्र ही चले गये

bhīṣma uvāca | ity uktvā te jagmur āśu catvāro 'mitatejasaḥ | pṛthivī kāśyapo 'gniś ca prakṛṣṭāyuś ca bhārgavaḥ ||

Bhishma said: “Having thus stated their considered view, those four beings of immeasurable radiance departed at once—Earth, Kashyapa, Agni, and the Bhargava of exceptionally long life (Markandeya).”
