लोकपालोडन््तर्तितात्मा प्रसादो हयगर्दभि: । पवित्र च महांश्नैव नियमो नियमाश्रित:,४६ लोकपाल:--लोकरक्षक, ४७ अन्तर्हितात्मा--अदृश्य स्वरूपवाले, ४८ प्रसाद: --प्रसन्नतासे परिपूर्ण, ४९ हयगर्दभि:--खच्चर जुते रथपर चलनेवाले, ५० पवित्रम्-- शुद्ध वस्तुरूप, ५१ महान--पूजनीय, ५२ नियम:--शौच-संतोष आदि नियमोंके पालनसे प्राप्त होने योग्य, ५३ नियमाश्रित:--नियमोंके आश्रयभूत
lokapālo ’ntarhitātmā prasādo hayagardabhiḥ | pavitraṃ ca mahāṃś caiva niyamo niyamāśritaḥ ||
Vāyu said: “He is the Protector of the worlds, moving in an unseen form, ever full of gracious serenity. He rides a chariot yoked with horses and mules. He is pure and greatly venerable; he is attainable through the observance of disciplines such as purity and contentment, and he is himself the very support and refuge of those disciplines.”
