अनिच्छतस्तव विभो जन्ममृत्युरनेकत: । द्वारं तु स्वर्गमोक्षाणामाक्षेप्ता त्वं ददासि च,प्रभो! यदि आप स्वयं ही कृपा करके जीवका उद्धार करना न चाहें तो उसके बारंबार जन्म और मृत्यु होते रहते हैं। आप ही स्वर्ग और मोक्षके द्वार हैं। आप ही उनकी प्राप्तिमें बाधा डालनेवाले हैं तथा आप ही ये दोनों वस्तुएँ प्रदान करते हैं

Transliteration

anicchatas tava vibho janma-mṛtyur anekataḥ | dvāraṁ tu svarga-mokṣāṇām ākṣeptā tvaṁ dadāsi ca, prabho ||

Translation

Vāyu says: “O all-powerful Lord, when you do not will to show grace, a being undergoes repeated births and deaths in many ways. You yourself are the gate to heaven and liberation; you can obstruct their attainment, and you alone also bestow them, O Master.”
