स काम: सर्वभूतानां सर्वभावगतो नृप । असुराणां सुराणां च चरत्यन्तर्गतः सदा,नरेश्वर! जो सम्पूर्ण प्राणियोंके मानसिक संकल्पमें व्याप्त रहनेवाला है और देवताओं तथा असुरोंके भी अन्तःकरणमें सदा विचरता रहता है, वह कामदेव ही भगवान् श्रीकृष्णका वंशधर है
Transliteration
sa kāmaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ sarvabhāvagato nṛpa | asurāṇāṁ surāṇāṁ ca caraty antargataḥ sadā ||
Translation
Bhishma said: “O king, that Desire (Kāma) which pervades the inner intentions and mental formations of all beings, and which ever moves within the hearts of both gods and demons—this very Kāma is declared to be a descendant of Bhagavān Śrī Kṛṣṇa.”
