ययाति–देवयानी संवादः

Yayāti–Devayānī Dialogue and Śukra’s Consent

आहूतो विद्यया भद्ठे भार्गवेण महात्मना । त्वत्सममीपमिहायात: कथंचित्‌ समजीवित:,“भद्रे! फिर महात्मा भार्गवने जब विद्याका प्रयोग करके मुझे बुलाया है, तब किसी प्रकारसे पूर्ण जीवन लाभ करके यहाँ तुम्हारे पास आ सका हूँ

āhūto vidyayā bhadre bhārgaveṇa mahātmanā | tvatsamam īpam ihāyātaḥ kathaṃcit samajīvitaḥ ||

Śukra said: “O noble lady, the great-souled Bhārgava has summoned me by the power of his knowledge. Somehow, having regained full life, I have managed to come here close to you.”
