King Duḥṣanta’s Entry into the Forest Hunt

सम्पूजितो मघवता वसुश्नैदी श्वरो नृप: । पालयामास धर्मेण चेदिस्थ: पृथिवीमिमाम्,इन्द्रके द्वारा उपर्युक्त रूपसे सम्मानित चेदिराज वसुने चेदिदेशमें ही रहकर इस पृथ्वीका धर्मपूर्वक पालन किया
Transliteration
sampūjito maghavatā vasuśnaidīśvaro nṛpaḥ | pālayāmāsa dharmeṇa cedisthaḥ pṛthivīm imām ||
Translation
Honoured with due reverence by Maghavat (Indra), the king—lord of the Vasus and of the Śnaidi lineage—remained in the land of Cedi and governed this very earth in accordance with dharma, upholding righteous order through just rule.
