कल्माषपाद-शाप-कारणम्

Cause of Kalmāṣapāda’s Niyoga under a Curse

ततः पुरे च राष्ट्र च वनेषूपवनेषु च । आदिदेश महीपालस्तमेव सचिवं तदा,उन दिनों भूपालने नगर, राष्ट्र वन तथा उपवनोंकी देखभाल एवं रक्षाके लिये मन्त्रीको ही आदेश देकर विदा किया

tataḥ pure ca rāṣṭre ca vaneṣūpavaneṣu ca | ādidēśa mahīpālas tam eva sacivaṃ tadā ||

Then the king ordered that very minister to oversee and safeguard the city and the realm—likewise the forests and the pleasure-groves—and, having entrusted him with this responsibility, dismissed him.
