Vaiśaṃpāyana said: “By continually witnessing the sons’ birth, their growth, and their study of the Veda, you will always attain the highest joy on account of Pāṇḍu.”

The verse highlights a dharmic ideal: true fulfillment in a royal household comes from the righteous flourishing of the next generation—birth, proper upbringing, and disciplined Vedic education—rather than from mere power or wealth.
Vaiśaṃpāyana narrates that those around Pāṇḍu (and his household) will experience great and continual joy as they witness the sons being born, growing up, and engaging in Vedic study—signs of prosperity, continuity, and adherence to dharma.
