कर्णप्रवेशः—रङ्गे द्वन्द्वयुद्धप्रस्तावः तथा अङ्गराज्याभिषेकः

Karna’s Entry, Duel Proposal, and Consecration as King of Aṅga

द्वारिणं तापसा ऊचू राजानं च प्रकाशय । ते तु गत्वा क्षणेनैव सभायां विनिवेदिता:,तब तपस्वी मुनियोंने द्वारपालसे कहा--'राजाको हमारे आनेकी सूचना दो!” द्वारपालने सभामें जाकर क्षणभरमें समाचार दे दिया

dvāriṇaṃ tāpasā ūcuḥ rājānaṃ ca prakāśaya | te tu gatvā kṣaṇenaiva sabhāyāṃ viniveditāḥ ||

Vaiśampāyana said: The ascetic sages said to the doorkeeper, “Announce us to the king.” He went at once and, within a moment, conveyed their message in the royal assembly.
