When Hiraṇyagarbha (Brahmā) had taken his seat upon that supreme throne, Vāsaveya (Vyāsa), having respectfully circumambulated him, stood with humility near Brahmā’s seat. The scene underscores the ethic of reverence toward the source of knowledge and the proper conduct of a disciple before a venerable teacher.
