त॑ दृष्टवा विस्मितो भूत्वा प्राउजलि: प्रणत: स्थित: । आसन कल्पयामास सर्वर्मुनिगणैर्वृत:,व्यासजी ब्रह्माजीको देखकर आश्चर्यवकित रह गये। उन्होंने हाथ जोड़कर प्रणाम किया और खड़े रहे। फिर सावधान होकर सब ऋषि-मुनियोंके साथ उन्होंने ब्रह्माजीके लिये आसनकी व्यवस्था की

taṁ dṛṣṭvā vismito bhūtvā prāñjaliḥ praṇataḥ sthitaḥ | āsanaṁ kalpayāmāsa sarvair munigaṇair vṛtaḥ ||

Seeing him, Vyāsa was struck with wonder. With palms joined in reverence, he bowed and stood respectfully. Then, composed and attentive, and surrounded by the assembled sages, he arranged a seat for Brahmā—an act of due honor to the highest guest and spiritual authority.
