Uddhava’s Counsel: The Jarāsandha Resolution and Kṛṣṇa’s Arrival at Indraprastha
atho munir yadu-patinā sabhājitaḥ praṇamya taṁ hṛdi vidadhad vihāyasā niśamya tad-vyavasitam āhṛtārhaṇo mukunda-sandaraśana-nirvṛtendriyaḥ
Then Nārada Muni, honored by Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the lord of the Yadus, bowed down to Him. The sight of Mukunda fully satisfied all his senses. Having heard the Lord’s resolve and having been worshiped by Him, Nārada placed the Lord firmly within his heart and departed through the sky.
This verse states that Nārada’s senses became fully pacified and satisfied simply by seeing Mukunda (Kṛṣṇa), showing that divine vision of the Lord is itself spiritually fulfilling.
After receiving Kṛṣṇa’s respectful hospitality, Nārada intended to continue his travels; the verse describes him bowing, fixing the Lord in his heart, and leaving by the sky—typical of Nārada’s itinerant service.
By remembering Kṛṣṇa with devotion—through japa, kīrtana, and mindful recollection—one can carry spiritual focus within the heart while moving through daily duties, as Nārada does here.
