Brahmā’s Prayers to Lord Kṛṣṇa (Brahmā-stuti) and the Restoration of Vraja’s Lunch Pastime
ततो हसन् हृषीकेशोऽभ्यवहृत्य सहार्भकै: । दर्शयंश्चर्माजगरं न्यवर्तत वनाद् व्रजम् ॥ ४६ ॥
tato hasan hṛṣīkeśo ’bhyavahṛtya sahārbhakaiḥ darśayaṁś carmājagaraṁ nyavartata vanād vrajam
Then Lord Hṛṣīkeśa, smiling, finished His lunch with the cowherd boys. As they returned from the forest to Vraja, Śrī Kṛṣṇa showed them the skin of the dead serpent Aghāsura.
This verse shows Kṛṣṇa smiling and calmly returning with the boys after the danger has passed, indicating His effortless protection of His devotees and companions in Vraja.
Kṛṣṇa displayed the python’s skin as visible proof of the deliverance and the victory, so the residents of Vraja could understand what occurred and glorify the Lord’s protection.
Remember that sincere devotion invites divine protection; when facing fear or uncertainty, cultivate steadiness and trust in the Lord rather than panic.
