What bond the Goddess Nirṛti hath fastened on thee—a cord upon the neck, a bond not lightly loosed—this same for thee I sunder, for life, for splendour, for strength. Eat thou this gladdening food, sent forth (to renewed being).
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (Anukramaṇī attribution varies; commonly Atharvan/Angiras-type for such apotropaic hymns)
Devata: Nirṛti (as the binding power), with the rite oriented to release into Āyus/Varcas/Bala
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (probable; requires pada-count verification against a critical text)
{"primary_rasa":"bhayankara","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_arc":"From fear of binding doom → decisive liberation → renewed appetite and gladness.","listener_experience":"A sense of rescue; release in the throat/chest; return of hope.","intensity":7}
