Sukta 30
अङ्गभेदो अङ्गज्वरो यश्च ते हृदयामयः । यक्ष्मः श्येन इव प्रापप्तद् वाचा साढः परस्तराम्
aṅgabhédo aṅgajvaró yáś ca te hṛdayāmayáḥ | yakṣmáḥ śyéná iva prá-āpaptad vācā́ sāḍháḥ parastarā́m
The limb-rending pain, the fever of the limbs, and whatsoever heart-sickness is thine—yakṣma, like a hawk, hath swooped upon thee: by our speech, subdued, be it driven farther away.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (often transmitted under Atharvan/Angiras lineages for yakṣma-healing); specific r̥ṣi attribution depends on Anukramaṇī.
Devata: Bhaiṣajya/Agni-Sūrya complex in the hymn; here primarily the expulsion of Yakṣma (personified disease).
Chandas: Anuṣṭubh (likely; confirm by pada count in critical edition).
{"primary_rasa":"vira","secondary_rasa":"raudra","emotional_arc":"From naming suffering to forceful domination and expulsion of disease.","listener_experience":"Courage and agency; a sense of pushing illness out and away.","intensity":7}
