śáṃ no áditiḥ bhavatu vratébhiḥ | śáṃ no bhavantu marútaḥ svarkā́ḥ || śáṃ no víṣṇuḥ śám u pūṣā́ no astu | śáṃ no bhavitrám śám vastu vāyúḥ ||
Weal unto us—may Aditi, by our holy observances, be gracious; weal unto us—may the Maruts, heaven-bright, be beneficent. Weal unto us—may Viṣṇu (grant it); yea, may Pūṣan be weal to us; weal unto us be prosperous futurity; and weal be our abiding—may Vāyu (be so).
Rishi: Traditionally treated as a Śānti-prayoga compilation; r̥ṣi attribution varies in ancillary lists for late AV śānti collections.
Devata: Aditi; Maruts; Viṣṇu; Pūṣan; Vāyu (collective benedictive invocation).
Chandas: Mixed/late Atharvanic śānti style; predominantly anuṣṭubh-like cadence (not strictly classical).
