Sukta 10
शं नो द्यावापृथिवी पूर्वहूतौ शमन्तरिक्षं दृशये नो अस्तु । शं न ओषधीर्वनिनो भवन्तु शं नो रजसस्पतिरस्तु जिष्णुः
śáṃ no dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ pū́rva-hūtau | śám antárikṣaṃ dṛśáye no astu | śáṃ na óṣadhīr vaníno bhavantu | śáṃ no rájasaḥ pátir astu jíṣṇuḥ ||
Weal be to us from Heaven and Earth, invoked from of old; weal—may the midspace be for our seeing. Weal be to us: may the forest herbs be kindly; weal be to us: may the victorious Lord of the region be present.
