उप द्यामुप वेतसमवत्तरो नदीनाम्। अग्ने पित्तमपामसि

úpa dyā́m úpa vetasám ávattaro nadī́nām | ágne pittám apā́m asi ||

Up to the sky, up to the reed; go thou down to the rivers. O Agni, thou art the bile (the potent essence) of the waters.
