Sukta 2

ये न पितुः पितरो ये पितामहा य आविविशुरुर्व१न्तरिक्षम्। य आक्षियन्ति पृथिवीमुत द्यां तेभ्यः पितृभ्यो नमसा विधेम

yé naḥ pitúḥ pitáraḥ yé pitāmahā́ yá āvivíśur urvàṃ antárikṣam | yá ākṣíyanti pṛthivī́m utá dyā́m tébhyaḥ pitṛ́bhyo námāsā vidhéma

The Fathers of our father, and the grandsires, who have entered the broad mid-air; who dwell on Earth and also in Heaven—to those Fathers with reverence would we render worshipful service.
