उदन्वती द्यौरवमा पीलुमतीति मध्यमा। तृतीया ह प्रद्यौरिति यस्यां पितर आसते
udánvatī dyáur avamā́ pī́lumatī́ íti madhyamā́ | tṛtī́yā ha pradyáur íti yásyāṃ pitára āsate ||
‘Watery’ is the lowest heaven; ‘Pīlumatī,’ so they call the middle; the third, verily, is ‘Pradyauḥ’—that wherein the Fathers sit established.
