tásyedáṃ várcas téjaḥ prā́ṇam ā́yur ní veṣṭayāmī́dam enam adharā́ñcam pādayāmi

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

This lustre, this fiery might, this breath and life of his—herewith I enwrap it; and this man, even him, I cause to go downward, I set him beneath.
