This is that god within the waters—thousand-rooted, man-formed, a devourer—who begat this whole world of being. This is the offence against that god when wrathful—whoso thus overmasters a knowing Brahmin. Up, make him tremble, O Rohita; waste him away: against the brahma-slayer loose forth the nooses.
Rishi: Atharvanic tradition (variable)
Devata: Rohita (solar/cosmogonic, hidden in waters)
Chandas: Mixed; refrain-driven
{"primary_rasa":"raudra","secondary_rasa":"adbhuta","emotional_arc":"Mystery of hidden creator → awe at cosmogony → wrathful punitive release","listener_experience":"Sense of deep, oceanic power rising; fear of being ‘consumed’ by consequence","intensity":9}
