अभ्य१न्यदेति पर्यन्यदस्यतेऽहोरात्राभ्यां महिषः कल्पमानः । सूर्यं वयं रजसि क्षियन्तं गातुविदं हवामहे नाधमानाः
abhí anyád eti páry anyád asyate 'horātrā́bhyāṃ mahiṣáḥ kálpamānaḥ | sū́ryaṃ vayáṃ rájasi kṣiyántaṃ gātuvídaṃ havāmahe nā́dhamānāḥ
Toward one side he goeth; round the other he is hurled abroad; the mighty Bull, disposing himself by day and night. The Sun, abiding in the airy realm, the Knower of paths, we needy suppliants call upon.
